I am continuing to paint the background on the "little Blue" oil painting. The brighter leaves are a mix of thalo and lemon with small amount of white. Some of the leaves have ultramarine added to make them darker.
I added purple to the mixes to get a greyed down green for the background foliage.

 Finally, I have finished the background. I have about 4 hrs. into this painting. All that's left is some detail on the branches and a signature.

There is a little glare on the photo.  I will post the final painting when I start the auction on Daily Paintworks. I need to let it dry for about 2 weeks.
